Inclement Weather

Unusual situations such as severe weather may require that Southern delay, cancel classes or close the institution.

Announcements regarding such delays, cancellations or closings will be posted on the college website, announced through selected local media, including radio and television stations.

Delays, cancellations or closing announcements

In the case of inclement weather, below is a list defining class times:
  • Morning classes: 8 a.m. to 11:59 a.m. This applies to class start times.
  • Afternoon classes: 12 p.m. to 4:59 p.m. This applies to class start times.
  • Evening classes: 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. This applies to class start times.

All locations are operating on a normal schedule.
