This iconic musical is based on the award-winning MGM film. The timeless tale, in which young Dorothy Gale travels from Kansas over the rainbow to the magical Land of Oz, continues to thrill audiences worldwide.
Classic hits “Ding Dong! The Witch Is Dead,” “If I Only Had A Brain,” and the iconic “Somewhere Over The Rainbow” have made this beloved score a family favorite since it debuted in 1939.
Performances of The Wizard of Oz will take place July 11th, 12th, 13th, 14th, 18th, 19th, 20th, and 21st in the newly upgraded Savas Kostas Performing Arts Center.
“This is a true community show that will bring together all ages for a big stage production that will take audiences on a magical journey,” Director Bill France said. “This show has a special place in the hearts of young and old alike.”
