One Day Writing Workshop

Southern West Virginia Community and Technical College is hosting a special one-day writing workshop as a fundraiser to help students pay for the upcoming Ireland/Scotland trip. If you are interested in writing a book, this is a treat for you. Bram Stoker Award-winning editor and bestselling author Michael Knost will be teaching a two-hour class with advice for writers of every level, explaining the basic elements of what makes a story, getting a better understanding of showing and telling, the various roads to publication, and so much more. We will end the sessions with questions from the audience. Michael Knost is the pen name of Mike Collins, the recruiter and Community Outreach Specialist for Southern West Virginia Community and Technical College.
