Southern West Virginia Community and Technical College Earns ACE Award from BankMobile

Mount Gay, W.Va. – Southern West Virginia Community and Technical College  has earned the Achieving Campus Efficiency (ACE) Award from BankMobile for the second consecutive year. The award is presented to colleges and universities based on their commitment to efficiency, security and student services. Southern is among 178 institutions nationwide that have earned the ACE Award.

In order to be eligible to receive the award, institutions of higher education must disburse greater than 90 percent of all student refunds electronically, and more than 40 percent of all students, regardless of financial aid eligibility, complete the refund selection process. Southern partners with BankMobile to process and disburse financial aid credit balances to students on behalf of the college, and to offer an optional checking account for students.
