2008 Savas-Kostas Award Recipients Announced
Southern West Virginia Community and Technical College presented the prestigious Savas-Kostas Awards during Commencement 2008 ceremonies conducted on May 14th at the Coalfield Jamboree
.
Kevin Fowler, President of Southern's Board of Governors, made the presentations to two faculty members and two staff members.

The Savas-Kostas Awards were established as a permanent endowment by Logan businessman, Nick Savas and family, for the purpose of recognizing the contributions of outstanding faculty and staff at Southern.
