Southern's bookstores are operated for the convenience of students, faculty and staff. The bookstores sell all textbooks and supplies students are required to purchase for their course of study.

In addition to textbooks, campus bookstores carry a variety of student-oriented merchandise such as pens, pencils, notebooks, batteries, floppy disks, blank CDs, and book bags.They also stock a selection of clothing and hats imprinted with Southerns name and logo.
