A high school student with junior or senior standing may enroll in courses at Southern provided he/she submits a consent form signed by the high school principal or counselor and a parent, and carries an overall grade point average of 3.0 (B) or higher.
Juniors may take classes totaling no more than four credit hours per semester; seniors may enroll for no more than seven credit hours per semester unless otherwise approved by the Executive Vice President/Chief Academic Officer at the Southern campus.
Early entry students must meet prerequisite test scores before registering for college level English, math and other selected courses.
Below
is a printable version of the Early Entry Form. Please print and
complete the form with the appropriate signatures. A high school
student may not register for a Southern course without this completed
form.
