Campaign Priorities

Since the onset of the Vision 2020 Major Gifts Campaign, your contributions have enabled Southern West Virginia Community and Technical College to initiate programs in Dental Hygiene, EMT-Mining, Medical Assistant, Respiratory Care Technology, Salon Management/Cosmetology, Survey Technology, and provide support for the Academy for Mine Training and Energy Technologies.  Investments from the campaign will continue to support these efforts.  Student Financial Assistance

Since the inception of the Vision 2020 Major Gifts Campaign in September 2006, the Southern West Virginia Community College Foundation has distributed more than $2.5 million dollars in scholarships to local students.   During this time, the Foundation has steadily increased the number of students receiving financial assistance and the amount of scholarship awards.  The Foundation prides itself on its award of scholarships, grants, and other assistance to meet the needs of students and the College.  The role of the Foundation will continue to be providing financial support for the educational needs of students attending Southern West Virginia Community and Technical College.
