Campus: Logan

Responsibilities:  Facilitates all efforts pertaining to the admission process of the institution on the Logan Campus.  Assists prospective students/parents with the application process, including, but not limited to notifying student of required documentation, financial aid options and/or direction to the appropriate personnel that will provide the assistance needed.  Initializes applications of admissions from XAP, Application Data Transfer, internet site; disseminating to the appropriate records personnel.  Responsible for creating, organizing, and maintaining confidential records and files, always striving to ensure completeness and accuracy.  Maintains registration materials and assists with duties/activities related to the registration process.  Digitizes dual credit registration into scheduled classes.  Assists students with registration, add/drops and class cancellations, apprise and amend students status and data changes whenever deemed necessary.  Facilitates degree works, for students, in preparation for the advising/registration process.  Creates student ID's and proctors student exams on an as needed basis.  Process transcripts and enrollment certification requests, attendance verification, and course description requests.  Assists students in the financial aid process, i.e. completing FAFSA and reviewing financial aid record on student self-service for requirements and awards.  Collecting financial aid paperwork, and then forwarding information to Financial Aid Counselor.  Work with financial aid to ensure all requirements have been met and funds have been processed.  Disperses graduation applications and notifies prospective graduates of information concerning deadlines for graduation.  Disperses diplomas and digitizes information into our Banner System, documenting the release of student diplomas.  Maintains office operations by receiving and distributing communications, serving current and future customers.  Responds to inquiry of students, parents, staff, etc. for the purpose of providing information and/direction as may be required.  Serves as office receptionist/phone operator.  Serves as customer service liaison to incoming customers.  Distribute faxes, proctors ICR classes and exams in testing lab, etc.  Requirements:  Associate degree in Business Administration or related field.  Ability to communicate, written or oral, courteously and proactively.  Interpersonal and human relations skills.  Ability to operate modern office equipment.  Ability to maintain confidentiality, verbal or written.  Knowledge of student records procedures and the ability to identify student needs.  Ability to work with continual interruptions.  Ability to utilize Banner.  Computer input skills and knowledge.  Application review will begin on November 27, 2018.  Position will remain open until Filled.
