Summer Financial Aid Available!

Summer PELL Grants

There is a change to the Federal Pell Grant Program that allows eligible students to receive additional Federal Pell Grant award for summer beginning with the Summer 2018 session. To be eligible for the additional summer Pell Grant Award, the student must meet the program requirements, be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours, and be meeting financial aid standards of academic progress.

The Pell Grant Award is based on a student's Estimated Family Contribution (EFC) from the FAFSA

  • Awards will vary based on EFC
  • Awards are prorated based on hours enrolled
  • Aggregate lifetime award cannot exceed 600% (6 years or 12 semesters of full-time)
  • You must have a 2017-2018 FAFSA application WWW.FAFSA.ED.GOV on file to be considered for Summer Aid

If you are a student interested in taking courses over the summer, please stop by the financial aid office to speak to a counselor to determine whether or not you will be eligible for summer Financial Aid. You may need to complete additional requirements to receive your summer aid.
