Disclosures

In order to help consumers make well-informed decisions regarding postsecondary education, Federal regulations require institutions of higher education to disclose certain information.  Below is a list of disclosures provided by Southern West Virginia Community and Technical College pursuant to these regulations.

Accreditation

The Integrated Postsecondary Education Data
System (IPEDS) is a system of survey components
that collects data from about 7,500 institutions that
provide postsecondary education across the United
States. IPEDS collects institution-level data on
student enrollment, graduation rates, student
charges, program completions, faculty, staff, and
finances.

Net Price Calculator

The Net Price Calculator is a tool designed to help students estimate what it may cost to attend Southern West Virginia Community and Technical College. This broad estimate is based on the cost of attendance and the financial aid that was provided to full-time, first-time degree/certificate seeking undergraduate students. Student Right-to-Know

Student Right-To-Know (SRTK) refers to a federally mandated public disclosure of a college’s completion rate and transfer rate. The intent of SRTK is to provide to the consumer a statistic of comparable effectiveness to be used in the determination of college choice. All colleges nationwide are required to participate in these disclosures.  In compliance with the Student Right-To-Know and Higher Education Act of 1965, as amended, and the Crime Awareness and Campus Security Act of 1990 (Title II of Public Law 101-542), Southern West Virginia Community and Technical College makes available its completion/transfer rates, Campus Crime, and Clery Act information to all current and prospective students.  View Student Right-to-Know information.
